 Makeup Artist

Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a photojournalism degree, I started out my career as a photographer where I quickly learned all that went into a production, long before the cameras ever started recording.  It helped me understand and appreciate the importance of lighting, film, and of course makeup. I enjoyed making people look and feel their best and started freelancing as a makeup artist.  When the HD revolution came to Media, TV, and Film in the late 90’s, I went back to class to learn advanced makeup techniques used in the high definition industry.  I have been honing my craft ever since. 

​As a freelance makeup artist, you can often find me working on commercial projects. ABC, Monday Night Football, Toyota, Dell, PBS, Frito Lay, Facebook, 48 Hours, ESPN, Good Morning Texas, AT&T, CBS, NFL Network, MSNBC, Baylor Scott & White, as well as many local commercials, print ads, and media projects.

​In addition, I have had lots of experience working with celebrity clients, from politicians to athletes to entertainers, some of which are Rob Lowe, Debra Messing, Troy Aikman, Diane Sawyer, Jimmy Kimmel, Dr. Oz, George Bush, Jason Whitten, Mark Cuban, Greg Abbott, Alan Sorkin, Tom Brokaw, Dr. Oz, Terri Bradshaw, Tony Romo, Rick Perry, Betsy Price, Nastia Liukin, and many more.
